Greetings, Dear Reader. My name is Astrolabe Hippopotamus, (a pseudonym) and it is my personal mission to bring you reviews and opinions of the best music I can possibly find.

About me:

• pfp (not big on having my real photos on the internet): I am 57 years old, and I
• worked as a columnist's assistant at pitchfork for 45 years before they fired me due to thier total and complete inability to appreciate real, meaningful work.
• I have a college degree in homeopathy and I'm currently pursuing a bachelors in electrical engineering. In my free time, I like to go canooing and I like to build magnets. Also, I watch a lot of youtube shorts. Since loosing my job, I've been really getting invested in creating documentation and a meaningful chronology of music as a whole. Really, I don't think theres enough research on music out there at all. I think that music theory isnt actually real,

Here, you can read about my efforts to write about cool artists that I've found that I like. I'll link to specific artists below, as well as some other opinion pieces and documentation that I'm working on. This website is still pretty new, which is why I don't have much up yet. Mainly, I realized a couple days ago that my arch nemesis music journalist Richard Beato has been spreading too much disinformation, so I'm really just trying to combat that as much as possible. Keep in mind, the writings that are currently up are pretty WIP so dont mind any typos or anything.
